P.P.C.Madhyamikottar Vidyalaya, Amjhore, Rohtas, (Bihar) is situated on NH-119 (Dehri- Yadunathpur Road, Formerly Known as NH-2C) & in the middle of Kaimoor Hill and River Sone, a place of historical importance and noted for its natural surroundings. It is at the distance of 30 Km. From Dehri-on-sone in south.

This institution is fortunate because it happened to be inaugurated by The Governer of Bihar Honourable A. R. Kidwai in 1980.

Formerly the school was run by Pyrites Phosphate & Chemical Limited, Govt. of India undertaking unit (P.P.C.Ltd, Amjhore).

But in 2003 when the undertaking was on the verge of its closer, the management authorities handed over the school to the local people.

Consequently, the managing committee of school was formed by the stremious endeavour of the committee. Specially The Chairman and The Secretary and the utmost co-peration of school staff the school flourished day by day.

Now it is fully equipped with all the security and educational facilities like CCTV Camera, Anti Fire Equipment, Water Purifire, Computer lab, Physics lab, Chemistry Lab, Biology Lab, Geography lab, Psy. Lab and Library.
