P.P.C.Madhyamikottar Vidyalaya, Amjhore, Rohtas, (Bihar) is situated on NH-2C & in the middle of Kaimoor Hill and River Sone, aplace of historical importance and noted for its natural surroundings. It is at the distance of 30 Km. From Dehri-on-sone in south.

This institution is fortunate because it happened to be inaugurated by The Governer of Bihar Honourable A. R. Kidwai in 1980.

Formerly the school was run by Pyrites Phosphate & Chemical Limited, Govt. of India undertaking unit (P.P.C.Ltd).

But in 2003 when the undertaking was on the verge of its closer, the management authorities handed over the school to the local people.
